Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a 2012 American horror film based on the fantasy action Mashup 2010 novel of the same name. The film was directed and co-produced by Timur Bekmambetov, along with Tim Burton. The author of this novel, Seth Grahame-Smith, wrote the screenplay adaptation, and Benjamin Walker stars as the title character. Real-life figure of Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States-16, depicted in the novel and the film as having a secret identity as a vampire hunter. The film begins in Louisiana in March 2011 and the movie was released in 3D on June 20, 2012 in the UK and June 22, 2012 in the United States.

In 1818, Abraham Lincoln (Benjamin Walker) lives in Indiana with his parents, he knew only a fraction of the truth, Nancy (Robin McLeavy) and Thomas (Joseph Mawle), who worked on a plantation owned by Jack Barts (Marton Csokas) . There, Lincoln befriended a young African American, William Johnson (Anthony Mackie), and intervene when he saw Johnson was beaten by a slave. Because of his actions, Thomas was fired.
